BFRC tested and approved UPVC windows in Edinburgh, supplied and installed by Viewforth Glazing. As well as being the first window created to gain the new 'A' Rating for energy efficiency, they were also the first fully reinforced double glazed window system to excel the tests. The Window Energy Ratings are a simple way of telling how energy efficient your new windows and doors can be. Tilt and Turn

This cleverly designed 'A' Rated, fully steel reinforced, five chamber insulated 70mm PVC Tilt & Turn window, opens inwards providing both a tilt in at the top for ventilation and side swing open in facility for cleaning. Offering high security, high performance draught proofing and heat retention double glazed units, whilst permitting easy cleaning from the inside of the property. This innovative UPVC window is designed in house and manufactured in Edinburgh. As well as the standard White this window can come in a choice of:- Rosewood, Golden Oak, Irish Oak, Green Grained, Ivory Grained, Black Grained and Grey Grained finishes or a combination with a white interior, also white, gold, satin silver or chrome locking ironmongery and Argon Gas filled, low E heat retention glass with warm edge spacer bars to offer 'A' rated double glazed units as our standard.

Casement Windows

These fully steel reinforced, five chamber insulated 70mm PVC windows are suited especially to ground floor properties although can also be fitted with an easy clean hinge system for above ground floor use, they are available in many combinations including fixed panes, side or top outward opening casements or complete with top hoppers where required. Offering style, choice and practicality. As well as the standard White this window can come in a choice of:- Rosewood, Golden Oak, Irish Oak, Green Grained, Ivory Grained, Black Grained and Grey Grained finishes or a combination with a white interior, also white, gold, satin silver or chrome locking ironmongery and heat retention 'A' rated double glazed units are standard.

Fully Reversible

The fully steel reinforced, five chamber insulated 70mm PVC window has the advantage of being a reversible window this gives the possibility to clean both sides of the window sash without going out of the building. It is very important especially in the case of multi-storey buildings where normally it is not possible to access the outer side of the windows. Reversible windows also allow taking full advantage of the whole space inside the building. Opening such windows does not need the removal of curtains, blinds, plants or ornaments from window sills as the whole operation occurs outside of the building. Such windows can be opened at any degree for ventilation thanks to the friction brakes and double restrictors. The strong hinges can be fully reversed when required. Since the handle is fitted at the bottom of the window it permits the installation of such windows high above floor level. Balanced Sliding Sash

This is the modern PVC double glazed equivalent of the sash & case window, gravity is held at bay with the Torso spring balance system which mimics the weights and cords without using the same amount of space, as well as sliding this window is available with tilting inward restricted sashes for ease of cleaning. This window will lend its elegance to any modern or traditional building.

They come fully double glazed with a choice of heat retention units and the sashes have an excellent draught proofing system. As well as the standard White this window can come finished in Rosewood, Cherry wood also white, gold, silver or chrome locking ironmongery are available. Vents and Child restrictors can also be supplied.
